I use genetics-based tools (-omics) to investigate various questions about Earth’s biodiversity. These include describing molecular responses to anthropogenic changes and investigating the potential origins of sexual dichromatism and other coloration in birds. Check out my research to learn more.
I received my Ph.D. in 2023 from the Meek Lab at Michigan State University. I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Sin Lab at the University of Hong Kong. I also serve as the Social Media Editor for the American Genetic Association and run its Blog.
